About Nicole
I’m Nicole, and I grew up in Southern California. I have always had a passion for traveling since I grew up visiting my mother’s family in Austria every year. This experience led to my interest in learning about other languages and cultures since I believe it’s important to communicate and learn from other people and understand their perspectives. I eventually minored in Spanish and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, for a semester and London, England, during the summer. Both of these experiences allowed me to interact with others and learn about their cultures.
Throughout the years, photography has been my hobby, and I focus on portrait photography. Before transferring to Chapman University, I was a double major in graphic design and photography at the University of Northern Colorado.
During my time at Chapman, I was allowed to further my passion for graphic design. I learned that communication is a critical aspect of a design because it influences people’s experiences. A pleasing experience can be created through aesthetics, how people find the information they are looking for, and how easy it is to navigate through a website. Whether it’s web or print design, I always try to communicate the best I can so the viewer can have the best experience possible.
